Description
The Armed Forces Collection is comprised of a series of chronometer-rated timepieces, drawing inspiration from the original ‘Dirty Dozen’ watches, timepieces commissioned for the British Army during WW2 when Britain’s Ministry of Defence needed watches to issue to military personnel.
The Bremont Argonaut Azure watch combines a 42mm round shaped polished and hardened stainless steel case and orange ‘temple island’ rubber strap with a buckle clasp. It has a blue analogue dial with a ‘Dirty Dozen’ inspired layout, which also integrates SuperLuminova coated dial hands and a date display, all of is protected beneath domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating. Power is generated by the modified calibre 11 1/2’’’ BE-92AV automatic chronometer with a 42 hour power reserve. This model also has an internal rotating bezel operated by a lockable crown at 4 o’clock, and a water resistance of up to 300 metres.
